WIBA Business Academy | Monthly Class Session

Event Description

The WIBA Business Academy is an eight-month professional development program designed for business owners and professionals who are ready to strengthen their foundation and grow with intention. Each monthly class builds on core business principles and practical skills, combining expert instruction, real-world application, and peer collaboration.

Every session is structured to provide participants with tools, strategies, and resources they can immediately apply to their work and organizations. In partnership with Wichita State University’s Barton School of Business and supported by local business leaders, the Business Academy connects participants with strong academic foundations, real-world industry experience, and community leadership. 

This class session is part of the full Business Academy curriculum and is designed to support long-term growth, stronger leadership, and confident decision-making.

What to Expect

Participants can expect a structured, high-impact learning experience that includes:

• Expert-led instruction and guided discussion
• Practical business frameworks and tools
• Case studies and real-world examples
• Peer collaboration and group activities
• Access to campus and community resources (as applicable)
• Clear action steps for continued development

Each session builds on previous coursework to ensure consistent progress throughout the program.

• Current Business Academy Participants & Sponsors
• Approved Program Guests (as invited)

This class is part of a cohort-based program and is not open to the general public.

Program Format

• Monthly sessions (April through November)
• In-person learning with interactive components
• Led by experienced professionals and academic partners
• Integrated tours and resource connections (when applicable)

Registration Information

Registration is required for all participants.

Attendance is expected as part of the program commitment.
