WIBA Women's Leadership Alliance is pleased to have Paula Routon, a lifelong Wichitan, as our local speaker.

After 4 years at WSU, Paula enrolled in St. Joseph School of Nursing, and graduated as an RN in 1976, then went back to graduate in 1981 as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist; a career that she enjoyed for almost 40 years.

Paula started playing golf with her dad at the age of 5 at Clapp golf course - down the street from her house - with used golf gear from ‘The Yard’ in central Wichita.

Paula has won 6 City Match play titles, including 2 at Rolling Hills Country Club where she was a member from 1992 to 2002.

Paula has been lucky to have 6 holes in one; 2 of which were in the same round @ Rolling Hills in 2001.

Paula has served in several leadership roles in the Wichita Area Women's Golf Association, and currently is the city-wide tournament director. She is a current member at Willowbend Golf Club and the tournament director and the team play captain.
