Amber Neises | WSU Tech

Amber Neises, SHRM-CP, is the Vice President of People & Culture at WSU Tech, bringing more than 25 years of progressive human resources and leadership experience across public, private, nonprofit, government, manufacturing, education, and consulting environments.

Throughout her career, Amber has built a reputation for connecting people strategy to business strategy and helping leaders navigate the very real—and sometimes messy—people side of running an organization. Prior to joining WSU Tech, she served as a Senior HR Business Partner with Airbus, held HR leadership roles within the automotive industry, and worked in HR consulting.

Amber is actively involved in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), having served in multiple leadership roles with Wichita SHRM and currently serving as Director-Elect for the Kansas SHRM State Council. She also previously served on the Kansas Employment Security Review Board, reviewing disputed unemployment cases at the state level.

A longtime advocate for professional growth and leadership development, Amber is especially passionate about helping emerging talent and women recognize the value of the experience they have and want to build, confidently step into opportunities, and continue growing throughout every stage of their careers.

Amber holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Friends University and the SHRM-CP certification through SHRM.
