WWLA June Luncheon

Description

Denise Neil, a Dodge City native and a KU graduate, started as a reporter at the Wichita Eagle in 1997. She took over the restaurant beat in 2000 and since then has built her popular column and Facebook page, Dining with Denise, where she keeps Eagle readers updated on all the happenings in the dining scene. Her book, "Classic Restaurants of Wichita," was published in August 2021 and is available in bookstores across town. In the fall of last year, she was diagnosed with tongue cancer and underwent surgery and radiation. She's now recovering, but her speech is still a tad imperfect. Nonetheless, she's determined to keep up her regular round of speaking gigs across Wichita.
