Special Olympics Kansas (SOKS) is thrilled to announce its inaugural “Roses & Races” Kentucky Derby Watch Party, set to take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, KS. This exciting and elegant event will bring together community supporters for an evening of racing excitement, entertainment, and philanthropy to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Kansas.

You will enjoy a live viewing of the Kentucky Derby, along with a selection of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and interactive experiences. The evening will also feature numerous raffle items, a Derby hat contest, and opportunities to engage with Tanganyika Wildlife Park’s exotic animals.

This event is a unique opportunity for the Wichita community to come together for a fun afternoon watching the Kentucky Derby while also supporting our incredible athletes! Every ticket purchased and every raffle ticket bought will help us provide year-round programs and competitions for individuals with intellectual disabilities across the state.
