I founded this candle company in 2018 after a period of struggle and uncertainty in my life. The years prior had been marked by anxiety and depression, with occasional bouts of rage. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, but one thing was certain: I loved visiting candle stores and smelling the scents they offered. It wasn't until 2018 that I realized candles were my answer -- they never made me feel bad.

Candles are an essential part of my life. I enjoy their scent and the warm glow they cast on a room, but most of all, I love the way they make me feel. When I smell a candle that reminds me of my childhood, I feel like everything is right in the world for that moment. I wanted other people to experience this feeling too!

Thus, I created the E. D. Caylor candle company with a single purpose: to bring happiness to others. I work every day to create candles that fill your home with fragrance when lit, and every candle is handmade by me in my workshop in Wichita. My fragrances are unique and exceptional because I strive for excellence at every step along the way -- from sourcing the finest waxes and oils to tying each bow by hand -- all with an eye toward ensuring that you love your E. D. Caylor candle as much as I do.

While I still struggle with my mental health from time to time, I no longer struggle with what I want to do with my life. It's simple:

I want to light up faces across the world, one candle at a time.
