Tony is a retired member of the Kansas Air National Guard and previously served as a Cyberwarfare Operator, specializing as a Cyber Penetration Tester, in the 127th COS (Cyber Operations Squadron) attached to an Air Force (CPT) Cyber Protection Team. Prior to joining the Guard, he served in the Navy for six years, undergoing SEAL training, working in Cryptology and Electronic Security System maintenance, and serving on the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Tony holds a degree in Computer Programming from Southwestern College, an Associates Degree in Information Technology from the community college of the Air Force, and currently teaches advanced cyber security and IIOT cyber security at WSUtech. He holds a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification and has over ten years of experience working for Raytheon as a Sr. Systems Engineer, with an additional four years as a Field Service Engineer stationed in Italy with ManTech.

Tony has held the highest qualification for a cyber-operator in the Air Force and has been certified in CompTIA Security Plus for over fifteen years, as well as various operating system certifications, SAN’s GCFA (GIAC Certified Computer Forensic Analyst). Additionally, he holds the highest clearance awarded by the United States government. Tony graduated from Rose Hill High school in 2001.

My background:  My first career was in international higher education, which began when I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji (where I taught future teachers at the University of the South Pacific).  That wonderful experience got me hooked on international education, and I continued by returning for a second degree in teaching English as a Second Language, and then taught at universities in Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.  I then returned to the U.S., attained my Ph.D. in higher education administration at the University of Michigan, and was fortunate to find positions running international programs at several universities (Wichita State University, Old Dominion University, and Kansas State University).  After decades of international travel around the world, I officially retired from the state university system and became primary care giver for my parents until their passing. I then started World Travel Bucket List with the goal of helping others experience the joy of international travel.

Nick is a Kansas boy, born in Scott City but raised here in Wichita Kansas. He has deep roots in this city and desires to bloom where he has been planted. He has been married for 23 years and has two kids, one attending Wichita State University and the other Maize high school.

He has had a variety of experiences over the course of his career. Four plus years of non-profit experience, more than six years of property management experience, 14 years of entrepreneurship as an owner operator of a window cleaning business, and 13 years of corporate IT experience at Koch. In each of those disciplines he has always found himself starting at the bottom and working his way up by taking on more responsibility and leading others. Leadership and Entrepreneurship is at the core of his passions and drives his motivation to personally grow and help others do the same.

Today he is working with Robbie Gouge at Business Advisory Solutions to build relationships with business owners and help them grow their businesses through strategy, management, and sound financial practices!
