Norm Duncan is the Vice President of Business Development for Valley State Bank. He is a commercial lender for the bank and facilitates a leadership development program for bank employees. Norm moved to Wichita in 2009 to start a church in Southwest Wichita named True Life Church, which he continues to pastor. Since 2013, Norm has been an adjunct professor in Wichita, and he currently teaches in Tabor College’s and Newman University’s MBA programs as well as a doctoral program at Newman. He facilitates courses in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Change Management. Norm has taught theology courses at seminaries in Mexico, Nicaragua, Indonesia, and most recently in Tokyo. Norm has earned a bachelor’s in communication, a master’s in both theology and ministry, and a Ph.D. in leadership. He is a certified facilitator of both the DISC Personality Assessment as well as the Highlands Ability Battery. His doctoral research was in the area of emotional intelligence. Norm also facilitates a monthly luncheon for Christian business leaders in the area. Norm has been married to his wife, Kimberly, for 30 years and they have three adult children.
