WIBA Women’s Luncheon

Where Women in Business Connect & Grow

Held on the first week of each month, the WIBA Women’s Luncheon brings together 150+ women and business leaders for lunch, connection, and learning. Each event features a carefully selected speaker who shares both professional experience and personal journey, offering attendees a meaningful opportunity to connect with the person behind the title.

This core program creates a consistent space for women to step away from daily responsibilities, strengthen relationships, and stay actively engaged in Wichita’s business community.


Meet the Speaker: 

Jennifer McCausland | Assistant City Manager for the City of Wichita

Jennifer McCausland’s local roots run deep, having spent most of her childhood and all of her adult life in and around Wichita. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University in 2002 and a Master of Public Administration from the Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs in 2007. She began her local government career with Sedgwick County as a Management Intern and later Communications Coordinator (2006–2010).

In 2010, she joined the City of Andover as Assistant City Administrator and was promoted to City Administrator in 2019, serving in that role through September 2026. An International City/County Management Association Credentialed Manager since 2017, Jennifer led Andover through both COVID-19 and tornado recovery efforts.

In August 2026, Jennifer was named the Assistant City Manager for Development Services and Quality of Life for the City of Wichita. In this role, she will help guide the city’s growth and oversee ten departments, supporting their continued success.

Jennifer currently serves as Vice President of the Kansas Chapter of Women Leading Government and was appointed in November by the Governor to the Public Employee Relations Board. Jennifer and her husband, AJ, are proud parents of two sons, Miles and Finn. They spend most weekends and spare time cheering their boys on in various sports.
